Brooks Awarded (Irons In USL Update)

The United Soccer Leagues named Crystal Palace Baltimore forward Gary Brooks to the USL-2 All-League Second Team.

Brooks finished the season with seven goals and one assist in 14 games played. His knack for scoring in big games was a key factor in Palace's success this year. His goal against the Harrisburg City Islanders in the first round of the USL-2 playoffs helped propel Palace into the semifinals. Brooks also scored in Palace's shocking upset of Red Bull New York in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup.

We here at the Local Fe26 congratulate Gary on his productive season. It would be great to see him back in an Ironmen uniform when the new season gets underway!
