John Krause and the Puerto Rico Islanders will open up CONCACAF Champions League group play at home against Panama's Tauro FC. The match will be aired tonight on Fox Soccer Channel starting at 11:00 PM ET.The Islanders are coming off a shocking upset of past Champions Cup winner LD Alajuelense in the preliminary round. Krause has been a mainstay on an Islanders' defense that has conceded the least number of goals in the USL this season.
Tauro FC are the most prolific team in the Panamanian ANAPROF, winning the league championship seven times. They defeated Chivas USA in the preliminary round by a deficit of 3-1 on aggregate.
